This may have been the biggest SST field in the history of the series, with 20 drivers competing in two heats. The top eight from each race transferred, with the 16 car final going 24 laps. a competition caution at halfway was included.
The GRC course was only modified in two places to add metal ramps (which, if you follow the series, are a staple now) to make the tabletop jump bigger and to challnge drivers as they approached the final turn. Speaking of, the SST race also used the "joker" lap that GRC used. This is a throwback of sorts to Season One, which featured a few Stadium tracks with two paths.
Personally thought it was a pretty good race. Hope you all enjoy!
